School bomb threat leads to felony charge
A Coeur d’Alene man is charged with a felony for allegedly calling in a bomb threat Friday for Atlas Elementary School.

Jacob R. Moore, 25, is charged with making a false report of a bomb. He also is charged with resisting or obstructing arrest and seizure, and with possession of drug paraphernalia, both misdemeanors.

Moore made his first court appearance on the charges this afternoon. He was ordered held on $50,000 bond. He also had been wanted on a probation violation warrant.

Officials evacuated the Hayden school after receiving the bomb threat about 1 p.m. Friday. The Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office used caller ID to link Moore to the threat. Officers with the North Idaho Violent Crimes Task Force already were at his house, attempting to arrest him on the outstanding warrant.

Moore was booked into the Kootenai County Jail. He has a lengthy criminal history, including convictions for drug possession, eluding police, receiving a stolen vehicle, driving under the influence and forgery.
