Thanks for all the replies!
Rosemary, I don't remember your brother,. Had I not moved back to Southern
California for a few years, I would have been in MHS Class of 1974... HAHA!
Another TV memory was KLEW.. on the weekend Lawrence Welk and Hee-Haw was
on about 4 times each. Same episode. Then there was Cliff Wasem! Remember
his TV commercials? Once he was demonstrating a new fire extinguisher,
(this memory is vague) and it didn't work.. the fire *poofed* up in the
studio. The back drop on KLEW news would fall down at least once a week..
ahhh.. such memories!!
Steven, Old Joe Halls WAS across from the Micro, for some reason, I
remember it being out there for a short time, then moving to Moscow...all
these minutes of history are getting lost to time, and memory... (mine!) It
has been 40 years, and I've been known to be wrong once, or twelve times!
Bojangles! Sounds familiar *laughing* At the time, I was 17, and too scared
to check it out... I'd heard it was strippers.. but, you know how news
turns to gossip! *grin* Won't even guess who was sitting in the front row..
The Highwaymen, an Idaho motorcycle club hung out there quite a bit.. this
was in the early to mid 70's... many years later, one of the guys who was
an active member of the club, went to college, and ended up teaching music
to kindergarten kids. He was a great teacher, and so tender..
Gary, Gary, GARY! *crimson blush*
Have a great day~ We are heading to 99° tomorrow... then, a "cooling"
trend. *heh* Miss Moscow Spring.
