City of Moscow Recognizes Volunteerism

April 1, 2014 (Moscow, Idaho) - Mayor Bill Lambert and the City of Moscow are happy to recognize the volunteer service in the community.  As such, Mayor Lambert has proclaimed April 1, 2014 as National Service Recognition Day.  This day is in recognition of service organizations such as AmeriCorps, the Corporation for National and Community Service, the Governor's Commission on Service and Volunteerism, Palouse-Clearwater Environmental Institute, and Lewis Clark Service Corps place members and volunteers to help educate tomorrow's workforce, support veterans and military families, protect the environment, aid in disaster-recovery, and more, including the City's volunteer commissions and task forces.
