Thanks Tom, but I'm wrong all the time. Why, just this morning, I thought the Steelers could win!

You're right, Sunil (as you are 99% of the time).
I do recall something along those lines back then, where Mayor Chaney had requested that a reporter (Daily News, I think) terminate his videotaping of a council session.
I was (and still am) hoping to find out exactly when this occurred. It will make life so much easier for me to dig (literally) through my archives.
Ah, well . . .

I support Nancy Chaney, and will be voting for her. But I agree the incident occurred; I believe it was in 2007, and I think she made a mistake then.
But I think what is far more important is that she learned from it. I think it's far more important that she has supported the right of people to speak to the Council, most recently with the Human Rights ordinance the Council recently passed. She supported the ordinance, and she defended the right to speak of those who disagreed with her.

Ah, yes. Kai Eiselein, the local op/ed writer.
Would you hapoen to know the date of the Moscow City Council meeting in question? It's kinda difficult to substantiate his claim with nothing more than a photo of Mayor Chaney to go by.
I would love to post the minutes (in PDF format) of that session so that we can openly discuss it.
How 'bout it, Mr. Price? Care to help in getting this discussion going?

If this ain't 'nuff, I have loads more.
In fact I am prepping a video portion from the March 4, 2008 "MCA Panel on Water Rights" where the forum opens for public Q&A, and somebody asks Wally if a simple delay could have been requested regarding a get-together held in Spokane between Hawkins Companies and Moscow City Councilconcerning Moscow water. Wally goes on to state, "I guess we could have asked . . . "
As a footnote, Mr. Dredge. I am sure that, as a child, you were told that, as you grow up, there are certain people you are going to meet that you are simply not gonna like . . .
I am most of 'em.
