That is funny, Scott. I posted this on Facebook, got one reply, and it was a very similar comment. I'm criticizing the view, not Chaney. Of course, given your comments it is hard to criticize any politician for any policy, since one can always give a similar reply.
Anyway, here's what I wrote on Facebook:
Fair enough. I'm using this as an opportunity to state my reason for opposition to anti-gay marriage laws. In effect, you're leaving the decision of who you can or can't marry up for popular vote. No one should be in favor of that regardless of one's moral view on the subject.

Hard to determine her real viewpoint.  Privately she may support abortion rights and same sex marriage, but that's seemingly a non-starter for anyone wanting to be elected as a Wyoming politician so she needed to publicly state positions that are aligned with the voters.
