[Vision2020] Injury Traffic Accident by Moscow Middle School

A Moscow Middle School school student was hit by a car around 3:15 p.m. today while walking home from school.

Moscow Police Chief David Duke said the 12-year-old girl was walking in the crosswalk on the south side of the Mountain View and D Street intersection when she was struck by a van turning left.

Duke said the 33-year-old female driver said she couldn't see the girl because the sun was obstructing her view.

The girl was transported to Gritman Medical Center. Duke said he didn't have a condition update yet, but the girl was awake and talking at the scene.
