PRESS RELEASE
Avista Utilities Construction Projects to Temporarily Close a Portion of Paradise Path

October 10, 2013 (Moscow, Idaho) - The Paradise Path in Moscow, Idaho between Styner Avenue and Berman Creekside Park will be closed beginning Monday, October 14, 2013 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and again on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., while Avista makes repairs to the Moscow 115kV Substation and transmission system nearby.

As part of Avista's ongoing investment to maintain and upgrade our electric system, Avista is making investments that improve safety and reliability for customers in the region. Old wooden poles will be replaced with new steel poles that will require less maintenance in the future. Transmission lines will also be upgraded for greater efficiency and with a higher clearance area for safety.

For more information on the Paradise Path, please contact Tom Grundin, Parks & Facilities Manager at 208.883.7098.
