[Vision2020] If you can't keep them from stopping.....

So, stepping around whatever that anti-Boehner zinger was supposed to mean, do any of you out there think that cordoning off a scenic overlook on a highway is anything more than a political power play?
These places are not staffed, and the only funds associated with them were one-time investments in the building of the overlook part of the highway and an educational display. Perhaps there is an on-going maintenance cost if someone has to come by every so often and empty the trash.
I can't see this as anything other than the administration putting the screws to the public in an effort to piss us off. We're supposed to get angry at the Republicans, but in their wisdom they neglected to consider that people might get angry at their arrogance as well.

Nice try, Sandra, but access to the pullouts should have never been taken away. The directive to close them is purely a spiteful, vindictive decision straight out of D.C.
