[Vision2020] If you can't keep them from stopping..... Visions of Highway 12........

"Grand Canyon officials have closed a state highway that runs through the park after discovering that tourists had removed barricades to access overlooks along the road."

Notice it is a STATE highway, just like Highway 12 here in Idaho, so what Arizona should do is the very same thing Idaho should do with Highway 12. The feds and in Highway 12's case, the Nez Perce Tribe want "control" over the highway, let them have it, along with the responsibility for maintaining it.
