I don't know why you are being so snarky? I was basically agreeing with you. Governments have a tendency to keep too many secrets. These things should be public knowledge. The purpose of A Freedom of Information Request is to compel them to do what they should. Anyone can, not everyone needs too. The problem is that if they do not wish to honor your request, then you have to go to the District Court to compel them too release the information. This costs money, which makes to harder do. Therefore said government agency can get away with denying the request. The forms can be picked up at the County Clerks office. If you do not know where to file it, ask her or the Secretary of State.

Are you suggesting, Mr. Falen, that if the people of Idaho want to know about decisions made by elected officials, they (each of them) should submit a public records request to Boise.
Then, after a couple months of "dancing" with the office to which the request was sent, maybe . . . just maybe . . . the person who submitted the request . . . might . . . just might . . . know to whom they should resubmit their request.

File a Freedom of Information request. There is no reason this should not be public information.
