What do the moist forests of the Clearwater Mountains, desert shrub habitats of the Owyhees, rugged canyons of the Salmon River drainage, and the rocky alpine of the Sawtooths all have in common? Yes, they are rugged and beautiful, and they also provide a home for plant species found in Idaho and nowhere else in the world. Michael Mancuso of Mancuso Botanical Services, Boise, who loves finding and studying these plants, will introduce and tell us stories about some of the more than 60 plant species native to Idaho that are found nowhere else in the world.  His presentation is at 7 p.m., Thursday March 21, at the 1912 Center Fiske Room, 412 East Third St., Moscow. Sponsored by White Pine Chapter, Idaho Native Plant Society. For more information contact whitepine.chapter at gmail.com.
