PRESS RELEASE
Impaired Driving Enforcement

March 6, 2013 (Moscow, Idaho) - In a statewide effort to eliminate alcohol related motor vehicle fatalities and serious injuries the Moscow Police Department will conduct emphasis patrols from March 10 through March 18, 2013 to reduce the number of DUI drivers.

The results of drinking and driving are often tragic. Please consider the risks to yourself, your loved ones, and to other motorists. If your plans will involve alcohol, please designate a sober driver.

If you see a drunk driver or suspect a drunk driver please contact the nearest law enforcement agency.

Remember, your seatbelt represents your best chance for survival in a traffic accident, but only if it is used properly.

For more information on this emphasis patrol, please contact Lt. Paul Kwiatkowski at 208.883.7067 or by email at pkwiatkowski at ci.moscow.id.us<mailto:pkwiatkowski at ci.moscow.id.us>.
