[Vision2020] 3 wounded in Houston college shooting

Does a gun in a holster on your person on board a plane somehow cloud your mind and coerce you into hijacking the plane?  Presuming that is doesn't, then if someone does want to hijack a plane they now have to contend with an unknown number of armed passengers.

This idea that I keep seeing from the left that the gun in responsible is surreal to me.  Even if I suddenly appeared on a plane in full battle gear leading a merry band of rogues also fully-equipped that would do my bidding with no questions asked, I still would not hijack the plane.

If someone did attempt to hijack a plane I was on, I would rather have a weapon on me than not.

Of course, there are other safety concerns with carrying a projectile weapon aboard a pressurized cabin being propelled through the air high above the ground, but a sudden rash of hijackings by otherwise bored passengers is not among them.

Paul

Exactly, Wayne!

And just who does the TSA think they are?  Not allowing us to carry guns on airplanes.

If everybody carried guns on airplanes, there would be fewer hijackings, right Wayne?

A powerful argument for allowing everyone to carry guns.  The world is overpopulated, especially with stupid people, hence arming everyone will eventually reduce the population.
