Here's a couple of practical (as opposed to abstract) suggestions for
maintaining a happy marriage/relationship:

If your wife asks you if the dress/pants she is wearing makes her look too
fat, then if you want to stay married, etc the correct answer is NOT "Not
TOO fat."

When introducing your wife to someone, then for the sake of martial harmony
avoid referring to her in the introduction as "my current wife..."
