Roanoke Bagel sells bologna sandwich in "honor" of Congress

ROANOKE COUNTY, VA --
While plenty of people are fed up with Congress, the owners of one local business are taking it a step further.

This week the Roanoke Bagel Company on Electric Road is featuring the "Congressional Sandwich" on its menu.

The type of sandwich?

Bologna of course.

Co-owner Amelia Goldacker said the sandwich is in honor of all the chaos that has taken over Washington.

"Listening to the nonsense and waiting for Congress as we always do and waiting and waiting and waiting. So we ordered bologna and said we ought to do a bologna sandwich," Goldacker said.

Roanoke Bagel Company is using top end bologna for the sandwich.

But much like Congress it's still bologna.
