That photo is of the 61 female members of the House Democratic caucus. Today, the first openly LGBT person was sworn into the United States Senate and the first openly LGBT person of color and the first openly bisexual person were sworn into the United States House of Representatives. The House Democratic Caucus is, for the first time, NOT a majority of white, straight men. The U.S. Senate includes 20 women.  The ratio:  One in every five U.S. senators is female.
