BIG thank you, Dr. Faunce.

Ever since this question arose this morning I have been back-stepping, trying to find a document I found online about a week or so ago. The document dealt with that exact question (Why should each/every cultural/demographic group be specifically identified in regards to non-discrimination?). This downloadable (in PDF format) was created by some commission in Colorado.

AS SOON AS I COME ACROSS THIS DOCUMENT (and I will), I will download it, post it here, and email copies to Mayor Chaney and each member of the city council. COUNT ON IT ! ! !

Seeya round town, Moscow, because . . .

You could try to get it to the US Supreme Court, but they may decide not to hear it. Discrimination based on Sexual orientation, Gender Identity/expression is also not protected under Federal Law, so it is doubtful the Supreme Court will hear it. That is why this ordinance is needed.
