PRESS RELEASE
Title:  Public Art Call for Artist – Manhole Covers


February 12, 2013 –

The City of Moscow and the Moscow Arts Commission are seeking designs for manhole covers. All entries must be received by Monday, March 18, 2013 by 5:00pm.

This call is open only to individuals 18 years of age or older who live in Latah County, Nez Perce County, Asotin County, Whitman County, or neighboring tribes (Nez Perce or Coeur d’Alene).

The winning entries becomes the property of the City of Moscow and the artist(s) will be required to sign an Art Purchase Agreement transferring all rights of the work to the City of Moscow and a Public Art Conservation Record. The selected artist(s) will be paid a $100 stipend for each design selected.
