[Vision2020] Idaho Health Insurance Exchange - asking for your support.

THE
IDAHO HEALTH INSURANCE EXCHANGE--ASKING FOR YOUR SUPPORT

     I support the
establishment and implementation of a state-created, market-driven Health
Exchange. This is vital to the effort to both extend health coverage to
populations who are uninsured today, and facilitate and improve coverage
access and affordability for those already in the individual and small
group markets.

 

      No matter what your opinion is
regarding the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, the fact
remains, that it is law and elected officials are sworn to sustain the
laws of our country.

 

     I favor state implementation of a
Health Exchange that is consistent with Idaho’s States’ rights
stance and as such, will advocate for transparency, outreach and
education, and consumer
focus as
lawmakers begin debating and establishing a state-run Health Insurance
Exchange.
