Yeah, I'm not holding my breath, either.  And the NSA is an executive 
branch thing, I haven't seen any response from them other than "we're 
not doing what they say we are!" and "well, OK, we are, but... 
terrorists!" and "get Snowden!"

As a citizenry, we're screwed.
