Days Before Classes Start Already Two Falls At Washington State University
PULLMAN, Wash. - On Wednesday night around 10pm Pullman Police responded to two separate falls. Officers tell us they are not related.

The first fall took place just outside of the Adams Mall near the WSU Campus. Police say a 21 year-old man was drinking alcohol, fell and hit his head. He was transported to the hospital and is in "Satisfactory" condition. Police say it was the young man's 21st birthday and he had consumed a large amount of alcohol.

The second fall happened minutes later at the Phi Kappa Tau Fraternity house on the WSU campus. Police say a college-aged girl fell from a fire escape two-stories up. They say alcohol was likely a factor in this fall as well. The girl suffered a broken ankle and an injured wrist. She was treated at an area hospital and released. Police say this fall is "concerning".

This is the third fall from that particular Fraternity House. The first one happened nearly five years ago and then just last year a 19 year-old fell from the house.
