The Idaho North Central Health District issued a warning Wednesday regarding the presence of at least one bat found in Latah County that tested positive for rabies.The Health District urged anyone who comes in contact with a bat to seek medical attention, and said if a dead or injured bat is found in the area, residents should not attempt to touch it with their bare hands. District officials encouraged residents to bring in any dead bats for rabies testing.
