Let's see, Daniel's solution for ending gun violence is to have the government pry into everyones health records, violating their constitutional amendment rights, in order for people to exercise their constitutional right to own a weapon, rather then just removing the machine guns from the hands of the youth.

Mr. Hansen, I am in favor of a comprehensive "background check" on our system of handing out psychiatric drugs. 

The point here is that psychiatric drugs are closely connected to violence, and yet we have ignored them altogether and gone after inanimate objects. Why not talk about examining how and when drugs are administered, and to whom? Should we be banning these drugs altogether, thus possibly eliminating the cause of 99% of mass shootings? It's for the kids! Maybe there is a case for their continued usage - let's talk about it, let's talk about the REAL cause of gun violence, and mass shootings in particular.
