I was just hoping that we could give him a nice welcome.
I'm not just talking about your post, it was just the one I happened to read last when I noticed how bad the trend was going.
Oh well, he's a big boy. He can handle it, I'm sure. We just missed an opportunity to show that we can all be pleasant to newcomers.
Paul

Paul, I told him he was precious. How is that insulting? (That’s a joke, Paul) When I see a name splashed in huge caps on the home page of a blog and then I see what they claim is most important in their life in teeny tiny faded letters off to one side it’s not rocket science to understand what is really rocking and rolling in their lives. I get to call it like I see it. For Pete’s sake, I didn’t design his website.
Wishing you a very cheerful and sunny morning defending the indefensible.
Rose

You know, we on this list can choose to go about this a couple of different ways. We can welcome him to the list, engage him in polite discourse, think about what he says and reply with well thought out positions, and generally treat him as we would like to be treated if we ever wandered onto a forum where the tables were turned. Or we could simply let our prejudices judge him before he even gets a chance to (figuratively) open his mouth on this list.
I didn't realize until you all started ridiculing him that he was the fellow I saw a DVD of one day with a friend of mine. While I didn't agree with his general outlook, I did find that he had some very interesting and thought-provoking things to say. I'm hoping he endures the feces that I suspect will continue to be thrown at him for a long time to come, and doesn't get discouraged and stays on this list.
Paul

You know what is really precious about this fellow? It’s his total lack of self awareness. Just below and to the left of the bolded caps in the masthead THE OFFICAL WEBSITE OF JUDD WILSON there are tiny little faded blue letters (maybe a size 4 font. I can barely read are the words “Faith, Hope and Love.” This is too delicious, and ironic for words.

"The fact that there are actually good things that white American boys do, or that there are evil things that non-white, non-American, non-males do, does not fit into their worldview. Therefore those actual facts are either never reported, or if reported, mixed in with so much disinformation that the facts are barely recognizable, i.e., any crime reports involving 'teens” or “youths.'
And what happens when white American boys actually do commit evil acts, such as Adam Lanza’s senseless murders in Newtown, Conn.? The “reporters” don’t bother to report on the reasons why that boy, or his counterparts in Aurora, or Columbine and elsewhere, have become murderers. They automatically forget that since the 1960s this country has turned its founding stock — Christian white men and their families — into the targets of every slander, lie, and perversion known to man."
