Very well stated, Sunil.

As a side-note . . .

Do any of you fine V-Peeps know the address and name of the Idaho teachers union? In response to Romney's comments "Moscow Cares" would like to make a contribution in Mitt Romney's name.

"Moscow Cares" encourages others to do likewise.

Seeya at the polls, Moscow, because . . .

This from the man who also notes (correctly, under law) that corporations are persons. So, to put the quote below in context, there should be no labor counterweight to corporate election campaign spending. It should be one-sided.

That's what the legislative actions in Wisconsin were all about.

  Romney: Unions shouldn’t donate

NEW YORK – Mitt Romney said Tuesday that teachers unions should not be allowed to contribute to political campaigns because their financial backing tips the negotiation process away from the interests of students.

“We simply can’t have a setting where the teachers unions are able to contribute tens of millions of dollars to the campaigns of politicians and then those politicians, when elected, stand across from them at the bargaining table, supposedly to represent the interest of the kids. I think it’s a mistake,” Romney said during an appearance at NBC’s Education Nation.

Romney said Democrats reap the benefit from these contributions, and that children suffer because the unions represent the interests of teachers, not students.
