City of Moscow Sponsors Transit Naming Contest

September 26, 2012 (Moscow, Idaho) - Regional Public Transportation, Inc. (RPT) operator of Moscow Valley Transit, is moving its operations to Moscow's Intermodal Transit Center, schedule for completion later this fall. To celebrate the move, RPT in cooperation with the City of Moscow is seeking to rename Moscow Valley Transit, the Moscow bus service operation managed by RPT.

The City of Moscow is sponsoring a naming contest to rename the existing Moscow Valley Transit or Region 2 Valley Transit service operated by Regional Public Transportation, Inc.  The contest is open through Friday, October 12, 2012.  Multiple entries are allowed.

Entries may be submitted online at http://www.ci.moscow.id.us/projects/name-your-transit.aspx or in person at the first floor computer kiosk at City Hall, 206 E Third Street, Moscow, Idaho, on any Moscow Valley Transit bus. The winning entry will be decided by the Regional Public Transportation, Inc. Board of Directors at their October 16, 2012 meeting.  The winner will receive a $50 gift card to a local restaurant.
