How am I relinquishing anything? There are no more restrictions on my view than yours. It is just that we differ in how we would describe things. You can still offend on my view without state interference. You have a right to say what you wish. If you intentionally offend another, your speech is legally protected but morally reprehensible. You can and should be scolded.

But I'm still a legal liberal. With few exceptions we can only prevent actions that lead to harms to others. Joe
