If I remember correctly, simply touching another person when they don't want to be touched is battery.

MOSCOW POLICE
Tuesday
1:38 p.m. - Police are investigating a potential battery at the University of Idaho Commons where three ministers were preaching using the Bible. Some of their statements caused students to get upset and a woman was accused of touching a minister with her hand.
-------------------------------------

So, some students did not look favorably upon some teachings from the Bible.  I lose my lunch every time I glance over the Credenda Agenda.

And the capper . . . "a woman was accused of touching a minister with her hand".  This is a crime?

Book 'em, Dano!

Seeya round town, Moscow, because . . .
