*Upcoming Prescription Drug Turn-In Events*

Anyone who has prescription drugs that are unwanted or expired may dispose
of them anonymously in Lewiston or Moscow on September 29th.  The Lewiston
police will be accepting them at their permanent drop box in the police
department from 10-2pm.  The Moscow Police department will be accepting
them at the Palouse Mall from 2-5pm.****

Unwanted prescription drugs can also be dropped off at the permanent
anonymous drop boxes located in the Grangeville, Kamiah, Lewiston and
Moscow police departments.****

“Our committee is pleased to work with law enforcement and concerned
community organizations to provide this important service,” said Darrell
Keim, Region 2 Advisory Committee on Substance Use Disorders.  “It is
important to dispose of these drugs so they are not misused by others, or
contaminating our drinking water.”****
