There is wonderful write-up about Sarah Moore in the Daily News this
morning (9/1/12). She left us much too soon. The memorial service will be
at Gladish Community Center Auditorium in Pullman this Thursday, September 6
th, at 2 p.m.

“In lieu of flowers, friends are asked to contribute to a favorite local
charity and to view the world with the same compassion, kindness, and
humility as Sarah did.” You certainly may consider making a donation in
support of native plant groups.

One very worthy cause is the INPS Education, Research, and Inventory Grant
(ERIG) Program which “seeks to stimulate and promote research, conservation
and educational activities which contribute to the appreciation,
conservation, or knowledge of Idaho’s native flora or plant communities:
http://www.idahonativeplants.org/erig/Erig.aspx . We invite PPF and other
groups to suggest other worthy causes as well.

We send our deepest sympathies to Sarah’s family.
