Title:  Moscow Mayor’s Arts Awards 2012


October 17, 2012 –


The City of Moscow and the Moscow Arts Commission present the Moscow Mayor’s Arts Awards 2012 to recognize individuals and organizations who have shown substantial support of the arts. Ceramic artist Rebecca R. Rod has created unique pottery vases for the awards recipients this year. These vases are on display at the Moscow Chamber of Commerce thru Friday, October 19, 2012.

Recipients will be honored during an awards ceremony at the 1912 Center on October 24, 2012 starting at 7:00pm.

Awards will be given to the following recipients:


·         Arts Excellence in a Business

Awarded to Essential Glass Works Gallery (Michael J. McCoy)



·         Outstanding Contributions as a Patron of the Arts

Awarded to Bloom Independent Art House & Café



·         Outreach in the Arts

Awarded to Roger Rowley



·         Outstanding Achievement in Arts Education

Awarded to Diane Walker



·         Individual Excellence in the Arts

Awarded to Sarah Swett



·         Lifetime Achievement in the Arts

Awarded to Roger Wallins
