And there is a lesson to be learned here by everyone. If you witness what you think is a crime, call the police first, then your supervisor. Which is what you are suppose to do.

Donovan writes:

"Wow! It is getting to the point where the only safe place to have illegal drugs and paraphernalia in Moscow is the Fire Station. "

However, the Fire Station is a very dangerous place to report alleged illegal narcotic possession and use.  For example,

"It's just that somebody didn't get what she wanted," Carscalen said. "So she's dragging everybody else through the mud. It's unfortunate. I care for the gal, but she's making it hard."

After saying he wasn't going to comment further, Carscalen offered the above.  This a publicly delivered threat, knowingly delivered via the LMT -- a bullying, intimidation attempt.  What an inept, unethical, and foolish way to vilify, punish, and threaten a whistle blower who has raised a serious issue of public safety and concern.

Translation of Carscalen's remarks:  "She better shut her mouth or she's going to get seriously fucked over."

Can anyone say: "Tort Claim"?
