Michael R. Wickline | ----IDAHO FALLS The presidents of Lewis-Clark State College,
Boise State University and Idaho State University are getting pay
raises of 13.5 to 14.1 percent.
In a 4-3 vote Friday afternoon, the Idaho Board of Education
made good on its promise last year to bring the salaries of the
three presidents into line with those of their peers of other Rocky
Mountain states in two years. Last year, the presidents of LCSC,
BSU and ISU received raises of 11 percent to 13.4 percent.
The board Friday also granted UI president Elisabeth A. Zinser a
3.8 percent raise to $119,500 per year and the board's executive
director, Rayburn Barton, a 13.5 percent raise to $84,600 a year.
The raises are effective July 1.
The state provides $104,500 of Zinzer's annual salary, while the
UI Foundation provides the other $15,000 a year. Her peers make an
average of $104,720 a year in state money.
LCSC President Lee A. Vickers received a 13.5 percent raise to
$77,200 a year, while ISU President Richard Bowen received a 14
percent raise to $94,700 a year and BSU President John Keiser was
granted a 14.1 percent raise to $96,900.
Vickers' peers make $77,085 a year while Bowen's and Keiser's
peers earn $99,350 a year...

Sue,

There is probably a law in Idaho making that illegal.

How much did President Elisabeth Zinser make in comparison to other Presidents at the time?
