Mr. Rumelhart -
I did not serve in the Army for 20 years (and one month) SITTING ON MY HANDS!
Nor will I continue to be a member of the Moscow community SITTING ON MY HANDS!
The latter claim should be clearly evident in a few ventures I initiated since my arrival in Moscow . . .

- "Not On The Palouse"
http://www.NotOnThePalouse.com
This website was first created and publicly posted on December 15, 2003.
Since then it has undergone scrutiny tighter than you can imagine and litigious review by more people than state legislation. See . . .
Exhibit Q at
http://www.tomandrodna.com/WritOfMandate/
--------------------------------
- "Moscow Cares"
http://www.MoscowCares.com
This website and service-oriented entity was created, was registered with the office of Idaho's Secretary of State, and went public in April of 2010.
"Moscow Cares" provides an online venue for publishing community activities, supports several local community-oriented organizations, as well as some political candidates (from both sides of the political aisle), and has initiated awards programs (one of which will be going public soon).
This entity and its site have been criticized by some members of the very church Mr. Rumelhart continues to defend. To them I say, "Thank you and READ ON . . . "
--------------------------------
- The Intoleristas
http://www.Intoleristas.org
The Intoleristas were pretty much organized in response to Doug Wilson's "History Conference" of 2004. He even came up with the name.
We accepted our principles from a poster that was being carried by a UI student outside the UI SUB at the time of the history conference.
What started as 4 or 5 locals (including myself) with common interests evolved into a group of approximately 25 members, eight of whom do not live within Moscow's city limits.
As long as entities exist within the community that spew venom contrary to truth and/or in contrast to beneficial community consciousness, Intolerista voices will continue to beheard.
--------------------------------
Allegedly, in 2006, some vandalism was committed against property belonging to Doug Wilson. Mr. Wilson proceeded to file a complaint with the Moscow Police Department, listing (among others) myself as a person of interest, citing no more justification than the fact than I had posted comments on Vision 2020 that he did not like. He (Wilson) requested that the Moscow Police Department NOT investigate his (Wilson's) allegations, but merely file the complaint for future reference.
One can hardly imagine what is meant by "future reference" after unsubstantiated (and uninvestigated) complaints were to continue to be filed. I have yet to sense any degree of responsible apology from the complaint's originator, and judging by his past history I don't expect to.
"Not On The Palouse" will continue its efforts to "document and expose local ties to any organizations that preach racism, intolerance, or urge a theocratic form of government."
"Moscow Cares" will continue to provide a venue, support and pay tribute to local community organizations/members who, through their selfless deeds continue to emphasize the caring culture of Moscow.
Seeya at the Winging, Mr. Rumelhart.
