The Federal Government should mandate that every State with a mandated ultrasound for a woman must also have the father get a manual prostate exam and an ultrasound with a wand used to help ensure a healthy sperm fertilized the egg.

So how does this help anything?
Many people have abortions because they can not afford a child
Reinstating welfare would be a better solution.

And who pays for this ultrasound?
and you can not see a fetus from an external ultrasound early on
so what would you be looking at?
Or are they mandating something Virginia Style?

What about when someone gets an abortion because something is wrong and the mothers life is in danger?  What does this unnecessary procedure do in that case?  Just cause anguish!

Are there other instances where the legislature codifies medical proceedures?  Should those who need triple bypasses be forced to look at the images of their clogged heart?  Should overweight people be forced to watch films of those triple bypass operations?

Obviously the legislative session is too long, when they start telling me what my doctor needs to do.

I thought that the Republicans wanted small government. So why are they doing this?

I am left thinking... If you don't like abortion, don't have one.
