[Vision2020] The Party of Abraham Lincoln

I am no longer convinced as I was taught in school that the Republican Party is the Party of Abraham Lincoln. Compare and contrast Lincoln's beliefs and practices to that of today's Republicans. 
 
1)  Lincoln was against slavery on American Soil.
 
Today's Republicans are for slavery work conditions off American Soil
 
2) Lincoln fought against the conservative oppressive values of many Southern States
 
Today's Republicans fight for the conservative oppressive values of many Southern States
 
3) Lincoln was from the countryside and understood the value of its natural beauty
 
Today's Republicans rip up the countryside and understand it only for its natural oil
 
3) Lincoln liked to chop down a tree
 
Today's Republicans like to chop down all the trees
 
4) Lincoln was for keeping the country as one
 
Today's Republicans are for tearing it into two
 
5) Lincoln was for a honest wage for an honest day's work
 
Today's Republicans are against an honest wage for all those that work
 
6) Lincoln ran a mile to return a penny in change to a poor family
 
Today's Republicans go the extra mile to get the poor family's last penny
 
7) Lincoln was assassinated while working for the equality of all humans
 
Today's Republicans have worked to assassinate legislation for the equality all humans.
 
8) Lincoln choose an incompetent southern liberal Democrat to be his last VP running mate
 
Republicans choose an incompetent northern conservative Republican for their last VP running mate
 
9) Lincoln was for the physical reconstruction of the Southern States after the Civil War
 
Today's Republicans were for the economic destruction of the United States so we could have a foreign war.
 
10) Lincoln had the support of 90% of Black Americans as did other Republicans
 
Republicans still have 10% of support of Black Americans because of Lincoln
