Independence Day Celebration - Friendship Square

June 29, 2012 (Moscow, Idaho) - The 2012 Moscow Independence Day Celebration will be hosted by Council President Dan Carscallen in Friendship Square in downtown Moscow on July 4, 2012 at 12 noon.  This event is free and open to the public.

The celebration will include a welcome message by Carscallen, the Pledge of Allegiance, the singing of the National Anthem, a reading of the Declaration of Independence, the singing of God Bless America, the annual Mutt Strut competition, and the singing of "This Land is Your Land".  Free ice cream bars will be provided by the City of Moscow.
