> Maybe you’ve seen the footage. A crazed assailant in Miami recently attempted to eat the face off a homeless man. Horrifying. Senseless. Turns out it was a pilot program for the Ryan Budget.

> Driving across northern Nevada, Melanie made note of the amazing sky. She drove all 13,000 miles of this latest tour - to Maine and back with many zigs and zags - and this sprint across the desert represented the second to last day of nine weeks. I began to wish I’d taken a cell phone shot out the window once every hour and put together a flip-card movie of our great cinematic nation, but then I was glad I hadn’t indulged in so much documenting of the trip that it becomes a trip about documenting the trip, and I looked up at the amazing sky.
>
> I did forty shows on this leg. We covered 31 states. Met many Bright Blue Dots (the most Progressive people in the least Progressive places) and saw many amazing skies, including the violent green and purple sky in Danville, IL which should have been an indication to us clueless Californians that a tornado was touching down just five miles south.
>
> And there’s no dearth of documentation - in every state we visit, we’re taping a new verse to my song, “Vote Republican.” Here’s the one from Portland Head Light in Cape Elizabeth, Maine. And here’s Colby, Kansas. There’s a map of the U.S. on my website - click on a state we’ve turned blue, and watch the video we did there. More soon as I have time to edit them.
> I’m on State Forty-Something. I’ll visit Oregon and Washington this month, and I’ll check off Califonia, Georgia and Florida officially when I revisit them in the weeks ahead. It looks like Hawaii will have to be on green screen - remember, it’s a “campaign promise.”

> Some say Mitt Romney is an uptight, out-of-sync, tone deaf robot. But I say no. So here's a brand new "Song of Mitt Romney," recorded live at the Kuumbwa Jazz Center in Santa Cruz, CA. You can buy it here and start the summer campaign season on a high note.
