I was going to do a post on this and thank Bev Bafus for her hard work. I am glad that this was posted. I di not have a problem with the word toilet used in this context.

There are people who go every day without essential items such as toothpaste, a toothbrush, or deodorant, essential toiletries many take for granted. Not having these simple yet essential items can lead to disease, decay, low self-esteem, and even depression. Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs shows that physiological comfort, including personal hygiene, is part of the foundation for an individual’s growth and feeling of security. Making that first step possible for so many people can start with your help.
