[Vision2020] Local Politics: Things are Heating Up in Latah County

I think it is easier to tell the difference between a male and female mosquito than it is to tell a loony Republican from an non-loony Republican these days. Mr. Schroeder has worked to get all Republicans elected in Latah. Why he is all of sudden picky about the two now the voter will have to decide. My guess, it is because he knows he has a better shot at getting elected if he disassociates himself from most the Republicans he has been inflicting on the public for the past ten years.

Though running as a Republican, I'm comforted that at least one newly
announced local candidate understands the threat we face locally, statewide,
and nationally from the whack-a-do militia types even if the Daily News sees
nothing wrong with giving these  anonymous cowards a platform.  You can read

Inquiring minds want to know which GOP candidates are associated with the
local loony militia?  Frankly, I'm more than a little concerned that Latah
County Sheriff candidate Rick Henderson is "Friends" with Pullman's Jeff
Williams, who claims involvement "with two constitutional citizens militia
efforts in Eastern WA."
