Moscow Police Officer Struck By Vehicle

MOSCOW, Idaho - A Moscow police officer was sent to the hospital Saturday afternoon after being hit by a vehicle. 

Idaho State Police say two Moscow officers were investigating a two vehicle sideswipe near the intersection of Perimeter Drive, Nez Perce Drive and South Rayburn Street. 

While working on that crash, a car driven by 40 year old Charity Buchert came down the hill, lost control and struck officer Anthony Dahlinger, who was standing outside of his patrol car. 

Officer Dahlinger was transported to Gritman Medical Center for his injuries. The investigation is ongoing and citations have not been issued at this time.
