[Vision2020] PR - Council Committee to Discuss OvernightParking in Downtown

A few years (well, quite a few years) ago, we were celebrating our anniversary and called a friend to drive us home, leaving our car parked off Main near Mingles. We got a ticket, naturally. Wondered what the incentive to find a ride might be for an inebriated younger person who didn't want to pay a parking ticket and didn't have the experience/age to really understand the consequences of DUI...

One question concerning overnight parking on Main Street that has been discussed here on the Viz that should be brought before the PWF Committee . . .

What options are there for somebody, parked on Main Street, who (late in the evening) decides they have had too much to drink . . . and drive? Would they be legally permitted to leave their vehicle parked on Main Street overnight?

  Seeya later, Moscow.
