16. If you know it is "spring" when everyone you know is wearing wool socks with sandals.
17. If you own (or know someone who owns) a four wheel drive vehicle with a gun rack and a "We need a department of peace" bumper sticker.
18. If your dog has a collar tag that says "I'm ______. Throw a rock at me and tell me to go home. Do NOT put me in your car. I KNOW WHERE I LIVE AND AM PERFECTLY SAFE. 
19. If are willing to barbeque in January.
20. If taking the snowblower for a four hour walk is not considered exercise, but just a daily chore like washing the dishes, cutting kindling, vacuuming the floor, and defrosting the water for the chickens.
21. If someone says "Oh, you mean Iowa" and you refrain from giving him a fat lip, but launch into the "Here We Have Idaho" song.
22. If, when it is summer, that day you go fishing.
23. If you are the only person to make it to work the day every University, government office, and Post Office is closed due to weather. And you drive a 15 year old Nissan Sentra with only all weather radial tires. And can't figure out what the big deal is....
24. If you think anyone who builds a BIG house on a hill with no trees and with LOTS of windows must be a complete idiot.
25. If someone mentions Bo Gritz you just chuckle and walk away.....

  7. If you have switched from ‘heat’ to ‘A/C’ and back again in the same day, you live in Idaho.

  8. If you install security lights on your house and garage but leave both unlocked, you live in Idaho.

  9. If you can drive 75 mph through 2 feet of snow during a raging blizzard without flinching, you live in Idaho.

  10. If you design your kid’s Halloween costume to fit over a snowsuit, you live in Idaho.

  11. If the speed limit on the highway is 55 mph –you’re going 80, and everyone is still passing you, you live in Idaho.

  12. If driving is better in the winter because the potholes are filled with snow, you live in Idaho.

  13. If you know all 4 seasons: almost winter, winter, still winter, and road construction, you live in Idaho.

  14. If you find 10 degrees ‘a little chilly’ you live in Idaho.
