[Vision2020] Isn't it about time . . .

Does anybody have sources for statistical figures on how many "successful
uses" of defensive firearms there are in this country? For example, how many
times have homeowners successfully (or unsuccessfully) defended themselves
with guns? 

 

I am curious if there are accurate statistics. The government has laws in
place preventing the publication of certain gun-related data. No joke. I
heard that on TV last night!
