Last night's abysmal performance by the Vandals against Eastern Washington, a team from an "inferior" collegiate football division, should hopefully be the final nail in the coffin of this ridiculous, expensive, hopeless quixotic quest to be among the "big boys" of college football.  To the U of I administration: please, please accept the Big Sky's offer to join that conference, and do so in all sports, including football.  Accept the offer gratefully, and soon.
