Mr. Arnold -
I have nothing but respect for Barrett Schroeder. He has not done anything to reduce my respect for him.
He says what he means and means what he says; a quality sorely lacking among most of the candidates, and certainly a characteristic shared in the Schroeder family DNA.
Should Barrett Schroeder win the Idaho GOP primary election, I anticipate a hard fought and honest campaign on both sides of the political aisle.
Seeya round town, Moscow.

I'm supporting Barrett in this election because I believe in his vision for Idaho, not because of his party. Barrett is what Latah Republicans used to be - accepting, moderate and willing to put people before the party and get things done. We have a few of those left - very few.

I'm an independent thinker who happens to agree with certain elements of the GOP platform. But it is not my entire identity. If you had actually bothered to invite me to coffee sometime and get to know the me of today vs the me of 7 years ago that I think you still think I am you might have figured that out.

Further, is it possible that he could continue being a Conservative Christian white male without incurring the depth of hatred you seem to have for him? That'd be a good thing, I think.

I think the Republicans use him and play him as their fool and he doesn't see it. It upsets me. They did it to him in college to. I hate to see it being done to him now. He should have finished college, got a good job, moved out, as a reporter or writer. But I think that didn't happen because of other people that took advantage of his naivety and genuine good heart.

> Please join my partner Alex and me at our home Saturday April 28, 2012 starting at 6:45PM as we host a social meet and greet for Barrett Schroeder, Republican candidate for the Idaho State Senate for District 5 (Benewah and Latah Counties). Barrett has a contested primary against a far-right candidate in the primary and needs all registered voters of District 5 to hear his message of reasonable and responsible government.

> Come enjoy some light appetizers, beverages and light desserts and get a chance to visit one on one with Barrett.

> No donation is required to attend; however donations will be accepted in all amounts at the event. Remember, donations under $49.99 (I've been told its $50 or more must be reported - as a retail guy I like the .99 cents!) are not required to be disclosed to the Secretary of State if you want to stay "under the radar".
