The following U.S. service members died while supporting Operation Enduring Freedom combat operations in Afghanistan, confirmed by the Defense Department from March 23, 2012 through March 29, 2012:

Marine Cpl. Roberto Cazarez, 24, of Harbor City, California; assigned to the 1st Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Pendleton, California.

Marine Sgt. Joseph D’Augustine, 29, of Waldwick, New Jersey; assigned to 8th Engineer Support Battalion, 2nd Marine Logistics Group, II Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.

Army Pfc. Johnathon F. Davis, 20, of Griffin, Georgia; assigned to the 4th Squadron, 73rd Cavalry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, North Carolina.

Army Spc. James E. Dutton, 25, of Checotah, Oklahoma; assigned to the 125th Brigade Support Battalion, 3rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division, Fort Bliss, Texas.

Air Force Capt. Francis D. Imlay, 31, of Vacaville, California; assigned to the 391st Fighter Squadron, Mountain Home Air Force Base, Idaho. 

Army Spc. David W. Taylor, 20, of Dixon, Kentucky; assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 508th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, North Carolina.

Army Sgt. William R. Wilson III, 26, of Getzville, New York; assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 28th Infantry Regiment, 172nd Infantry Brigade, Grafenwoehr, Germany.
