Idaho man pleads guilty to child porn charge

COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho (AP) - A 26-year-old Moscow man has pleaded guilty in federal court to possessing sexual explicit images of children.
Joshua Jay Downer entered his guilty plea in Coeur d'Alene's U.S. District Court. The Lewiston Tribune reports that prosecutors say he downloaded more than 100 files containing child pornography on a peer-to-peer file sharing network. The U.S. Department of Justice says many of the files were videos involving children younger than 6 years old.

Downer is scheduled to be sentenced in November by U.S. District Judge Edward Lodge. He faces up to 10 years in prison.
