Public protest is enshrined in the Constitution in the First Amendment, which protects citizens’ access to decision-making and holds government accountable to the people.

A series of events on Nov. 9 will explore the issue of openness in government and citizen and media access to records and decision-making processes. All events will be in Room 106 of the Iddings Agricultural Sciences Building on the corner of Rayburn and Sixth Street.
