City of Moscow Commissions Fair

October 10, 2011 (Moscow, Idaho) - The City of Moscow will host the annual Commissions Fair October 18, 2011, from 7 to 9 p.m. at City Hall in Council Chambers, 206 E Third Street.  This event showcases the City's commissions and gives members of the public an opportunity to learn about each commission and decide if volunteering is right for them.

Booths will be set up at City Hall for citizens to visit with commission members about their involvement with their respective commissions.  The fair will also include the presentation of the annual Service to Commission Awards given by Mayor Nancy Chaney to three outstanding commission volunteers.

The City's commissions include the Arts Commission, Board of Adjustment, Fair and Affordable Housing, Sustainable Environment, Historic Preservation, Human Rights, Parks and Recreation, Paradise Path Task Force, Planning and Zoning, Transportation, and the Tree Commission.
